The Family Center has been serving Maury County for 26 years in various different roles.  We try to “plug the holes” of poverty any way that we can either with food, financial assistance, thanksgiving boxes, school supplies or Christmas presents.  We teach, pray and lead by example.  This is an amazing organization with amazing people.

However, it amazes me how many people in our wonderful and giving community have no idea how much poverty is in our county.  That there are homeless people living in their cars, two parent families working 2-3 jobs and still cant pay the bills, seniors that have to decide between eating or paying for medication… children that go hungry.

These are their stories, these are our neighbors.  This is Maury.
